Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and performance-driven Software Specialist to join our development team. This is a fully remote role open to candidates based anywhere in Sri Lanka, with flexibility in work arrangements.
In this role, you will be responsible for both execution and ownership of software development initiatives, contributing to Android applications and Laravel-based web platforms. You will play a key role in delivering reliable, scalable, and high-quality solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. This is a mid-level role with clear opportunities for growth into senior positions over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications with strong focus on performance and user experience.
- Build, enhance, and maintain web applications using Laravel, Blade, Livewire, and Flux UI.
- Take ownership of features and modules from development through to deployment and optimisation.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing systems to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Translate business and functional requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Contribute to code quality through structured development practices and documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Android development, Laravel, Blade, Livewire, and Flux UI.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices and modern workflows.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment.
