Pharmacy automation is transforming how hospitals and healthcare institutions across Malaysia manage medication dispensing, inventory, and patient safety — and Omni-Health is at the forefront.
We’re looking for a Business Development Specialist to drive growth across our pharmacy automation portfolio in Malaysia. You’ll own the full sales cycle — from identifying opportunities in hospitals and healthcare institutions through to closing deals — while working alongside product, operations, and technical teams across the region.
This is a solo contributor role within an established and growing team. You’ll have real autonomy, direct access to leadership, and the opportunity to shape how Omni-Health grows its footprint in the Malaysian healthcare market. What You’ll Do
- Drive pharmacy automation sales in Malaysia, meeting or exceeding annual revenue targets.
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across hospitals, clinics, and healthcare institutions — managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company growth objectives.
- Present and demonstrate solutions to clinical, procurement, and executive-level audiences, translating technical capabilities into clear business value.
- Prepare and deliver professional proposals, quotations, and tender submissions, including participation in government procurement processes.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams (product, operations, technical) to tailor solutions and ensure smooth handover from sale to delivery.
- Maintain accurate CRM records of pipeline, sales activities, and forecasts, and provide regular updates to the Country Manager.
- Analyse the competitive landscape and market trends to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
- Represent Omni-Health at industry events, exhibitions, and client demonstrations.
What You Bring
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, IT, Biomedical, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of B2B solution selling experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle independently (prospecting, presenting, negotiating, closing).
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills — comfortable engaging clinical staff, procurement teams, and senior management.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) for internal communication, reporting, and documentation.
- Proficient with CRM tools and comfortable managing multiple concurrent opportunities.
- Comfortable using AI and digital productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) to support research, proposal development, and sales planning.
- Willingness to travel domestically as required.
Nice-to-have (ideal, not required):
- Experience selling into hospitals, clinics, or healthcare institutions.
- Experience with Malaysian government tender portals and procurement processes.
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication management, or healthcare technology.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM.
