Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers in the testing, implementation, commissioning and maintaining of robotic automation systems and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse workflows and identify automation opportunities.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring best practices are followed in customer engagement, trouble shooting and task prioritisation.
- Create and conduct tests to validate robotic systems and ensure reliability.
- Implement and maintain control systems for robotic applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with automated systems in real-time.
- Document system designs, processes, and technical specifications.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics and automation technologies.
- Support the mentoring, and development of junior engineers and ensure the team's professional growth.
- Represent the team in project meetings and provide regular updates on project status and challenges.
- Work closely with the management team to set strategic goals and objectives for solution implementation, commissioning and maintenance.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering (Robotics), or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience in robotic automation integration and implementation, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team management role.
- Proficiency in robotics programming languages and mechanical components.
